I acknowledge that I grew up on the ancestral land of the Nisqually.  I live and work on the ancestral lands of the Squaxin, Nisqually and Coast Salish People.
As a child I would join my neighborhood children to sit in the circle listening to the elders of the community.  I learned to honor the land itself and the Indigenous People who have stewarded these lands since the beginning of time.

I believe that It is through encouragement and un-biased support that we can make a difference in this world.
I strive to make our community a better place through action, support, education and service to others.
