Are you prepared for the What If's in the world? Do you know what to do to help keep your family safe in an emergency? What is an emergency kit and how do you set one up? What about important documents? What should you expect in your area? How do you prepare your family? Your pets?
If is a great class to come to. We approach this class like no other emergency prep class. We make it personal, and go over what to expect, how to prepare, and ways to save money while getting ready.
Beverly has been teaching emergency preparedness for over 15 years. She held every disaster preparedness certification that the American Red Cross offered, including Disaster Preparedness Instructor. Bev has also taught classes for Quake Ready, PTA, and for other community groups. Beverly was part of Civil Air Patrol where she was taught how to prepare for emergencies, and how do to search and rescue.
Bev has a different way of teaching about getting ready for the “What if”. As a mom of 5 children she learned how to prepare her children for earthquakes, floods and other emergencies. Bev brings her “outside the box” thinking to this class where she goes over what possible disasters/emergencies might happen. She goes over how to build kits to be ready without taking out a second mortgage on the house. What you might want to consider when teaching children to get ready. Bev understands what it takes to get ready, because she has experienced getting the knock on the door to get out ASAP, earthquakes, tornadoes, Mt. eruptions, flooding, and more.
